"The loudest moment within a person may go unnoticed by others. But if we listen together to what we hear when nothing can be heard (when there is silence), it may appear on the face, vibrate in a gesture, or resonate in the muscles.  Silence and music have something in common. A presence that cannot be seen spreads out, yet is close, so close that we can feel it as our own body.

How does music move us, and by what means can I translate the state of being moved (to move, to be moved) into a specific performative language? Dance, after all, has the ability to reveal what is incomprehensible in music—what “moves” us from somewhere within—while also possessing the advantage of being human and tangible. Music, on the other hand, is what introduces a delay into immediacy—or has the ability to prolong, to stretch a moment into an event.

Can eyes become ears and vice versa?  Lately, music has been moving me more often. I need it to move me. It gives me the feeling that I am moving through my own dense silence, which is hard to put into words."
