"With this publication on the first five years of work of the regional Nomad Dance Academy network (2005–2010), we wish to present what twenty-one founding members and six partner organizations created at various levels of dance and choreography:

at the level of education,
curating,
theory and critical writing,
international production, and
inclusion in European projects and networks.

We have always nurtured a holistic view of artistic work, never categorizing or separating education from creation or writing from practice. Such a view has afforded us ample freedom, and from that freedom was born the idea that 'everything is education.' And this idea was the foundation for projects such as the Nomad Dance Institute, CoTeaching, the Temporary Slovenian Dance Archive, and others.

In this publication, we have tried to mention and list all activities and the people involved in them, evaluate our work, and be critical of our environment and of ourselves. This summary has helped us create that 'we' on which our work stands. Even fifteen years later."
