Conference report by  Jaka Bombač - Bodies in Free Fall
The Nomad Dance Advocacy Conference: Choreographic Convention – Bodies in Free Fall, held from November 19th to 23rd across various locations in Zagreb, was realized in partnership between Antisezona and the regional Nomad Dance Academy network as part of the EU project Life Long Burning 3 – Futures Lost and Found.

This international event brought together numerous local, regional, and international artists and experts in dance, choreography, and performance. It offered a rich artistic and discursive program and provided a platform for discussing the development of dance in Croatia.

The program included the premiere of the short film Close Encounters of the Dance Kind, featuring more than 50 Croatian dancers; the opening of the exhibition Dancing, Resisting, (Un)working – Aspects of Dance as Cultural, Political, and Art Work in Yugoslavia and After; the advocacy event Transformative Policies for Dance, focused on calling for structural and institutional development of professional dance in Croatia and the region; as well as a series of performances and participatory artistic events.
